1st class: What is art? What is the critic’s role?
Classes always meet, unless otherwise noted, from 4:30 – 6:30 at the American Jewish Committee in the Jacob Blaustein Building at 165 East 56th Street on the corner of 3rd Avenue. **You are required to bring Photo ID.** Please note: we are not always in the same room. Ask the guard what room to be sure.

Address: Tishman Auditorium, 66 West 12th Street, between 5th and 6th Avenues
Directions: Take the C, E, F, or V train to 14th Street/6th Avenue and walk south two blocks on 6th Avenue and then east a half a block on 12th Street. Or take any train to Union Square (4,5,6, N,R,W or L) and walk 2 blocks west on 14th Street to 5th Avenue. Walk south two blocks on Fifth Avenue, then walk a half a block west on 12th Street.
