Teen Coverage of the NYC Arts Scene
Attention all writers! Don't wait! Get published now! We looking for people to join the High 5 Review Freelancer Corps (it sounds militaristic, but it's really artsy. That's the irony, dig?) to cover the arts in New York City. We want to become the premiere place for teen writing on the arts. No other organization covers it they way we will. That means we want to cover EVERYTHING. Film, museums, theater, dance, performance, music. Any of it and all of it. Freelancers commit to writing at least one 300-500 word review a month. Reviewers always get TWO FREE TICKETS to any High 5 show. Anyone can sign up. Send an email with "NEW WRITER" in the subject line to eost@high5tix.org and we'll get you started. Anyone can submit a review. There's no need to join the Corps. If you've written 300-500 words about a show, exhibition or CD you've heard or seen, you can submit it to us. Be read by thousands! Get your start in the industry NOW. For more info, or to submit a review, contact Eric Ost at eost@high5tix.org. PLEASE NOTE: We are no longer posting reviews on this page. We are in the process of launching a brand new online-arts paper, THE HIGH 5 REVIEW, set to officially launch in May 2010. Please check out THE HIGH 5 REVIEW in beta form -- and read all new and current reviews -- at www.high5review.org.
