Alexandra Baych Alexandra Reviews Loudmouth by Toxic Audio ![]() Well what can I say but incredible. This show takes place at the same theater that used to showcase Zanna Don't, and the John Houseman Theater has done it again. The theater itself is extremely nice to its student-viewers. They try to do their best to get us High 5-ers the best seats they can. And just for its appreciation of students, everyone should support this theater. Back to Toxic Audio though. It's a show that consists of five people each singing. But this is not your normal a capella group. Each of these singers has their own special vocal ability, manipulating their voices so that they take on the sounds of drums, guitars, and other instruments. This show can be compared as the vocal version of Stomp, or the Blue Man Group. It is unbelievable what they can do with their voices. The cast is energetic and very friendly; and they invite the audience to partisipate throughout the show. Toxic does its take on comedy sketches and takes on today's modern alternative rock, catching the audience and drawing them in. By the time it ends, no one wants to leave. I'm defiantly going to rave about this show: It's great! The singers are incredible and friendly, and you'll find it hard to believe that so many sounds can be made by just five people. If you only see one High 5 show this summer, try to catch Toxic Audio, it will definitely leave you feeling a lot happier -- and pumped up. |
