TICKET WEB FAQ

As noted in our Fall 2004 Catalog, High 5 has moved its ticketing service from Ticketmaster to Ticketweb.com. This move allows us to serve you better. When an arts organization wants to make its event available to High 5-ers, we can have the tickets up for sale in less than an hour. We'll also be able to keep better track of changes to the season. If a show gets cancelled, you'll be notified immediately. If a venue changes, you'll know as soon as we do. While Ticketweb.com will help us better serve you, we'll only know it's successful if you barely notice the difference.

There are two changes to our system that came along with the switch, however. The most important is that tickets will no longer be sold through Ticketmaster outlets. Instead, if you wish to pay cash for High 5 Tickets, you can simply drop by High 5 Headquarters (1 E. 53rd St., Manhattan). We're located near the corner of 5th Ave. and 53rd St., easily accessible by the E or V trains at the 5th & 53rd stop. You can also place an order by phone (212.445.8587) and we'll mail you the tickets. Just call us up and tell us what you'd like to see!

The second important change is that tickets now cost $5 per ticket. The variable ticket pricing became too complicated and confusing, especially on the new system. So as of September 2004 all High 5 tickets cost $5. Museum tickets, however, are still two for $5 and can be purchased on the day of the performance.

If you run across anything you think might be an error while you're perusing the new High 5 season, please drop us an email or call our hotline (212.445.8587) and let us know!
